Security

Security and Secure. Now that’s a concept that never goes out of season. Regardless of how independent we think we are we can admit that we need security.
We need something secure.

1. Sometimes it’s a blanket.
2. A place, 
3. A scripture
4. A Certain food

The ultimate security for this world and the next comes from God. Daniel 7 states three times that God is the “Ancient of days” As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.” ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.” ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭7:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬  “until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.” ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭7:22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Here we see a glimpse of how great God is. God the Father, The Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ. I like a good blanket and comfort food but there is no security like the Ancient of Days! He has always been. He always will be. He has been around since the beginning. He will be around at the end. Daniel was given this name(Ancient of Days)because the vision was very scary. It required Security.

Life will(and has) thrown many challenges at you. Be secure in knowing your savior is the Ancient of days!
